Monday 23rd October at Flinders University
On Monday 23rd October, Flinders University will host over 600 children from primary schools around the Adelaide region. The students will be given the opportunity to listen to authors and illustrators talk and also to take part in some interactive sessions.
Flinders will arrange and pay for buses to collect the students and teachers, and the whole day is paid for with the help of the University, funded also by the Australia Council for the Arts.
The groups will be split into lower, middle and upper primary students and all sessions will take place in classrooms installed with audio visual equipment. All materials will be supplied free of charge, and the day will be made complete by our key speaker, and best-selling author, Sally Rippin.
We aim to make this a day to remember.
Paint a picture. Spread the word.
